Description

The Director of client services proactively and efficiently organizes and directs the production process and manages design, programming, support and contractual personnel.

He is responsible for the delivery of solutions and services of the highest quality.          

Responsibilities

The successful candidate is dynamic, autonomous and motivated, capable of managing a growing team currently at ten employees, and has the ability to properly identify clients' needs in conjunction with numerous business imperatives. He will participate in the definition and development of business processes and controls to manage the various steps in the production process from pre-sales on to implementation and support.

The Director of client services manages service requests and business interruption risks. He plans and prioritizes projects and tasks, and manages the service portfolio. He accomplishes this by communicating effectively with clients and users and delivers results respecting the schedule, budgets and requirements.

He is responsible for the development and support of a high-performing team. He communicates policies and processes so that they are clearly understood and respected. He participates in the hiring process and ensures team motivation, productivity and team spirit. He does follow-ups, provides feedback and employee evaluations yearly and during probationary periods. He may be called upon to deal with issues of a personal nature, and ensures that timesheets are properly filled and transmitted in accordance with company policy.

He communicates regularly with senior management to set and ensure that operational objectives are met and participates in the planning and administration of the annual budget. He is also responsible to respect and maintain the well-being and security of personnel.

The resposibilities of the Director of client services are subject to change as required.

Training and professional experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Ten years of experience in a web agency or information technology firm
• Two years experience in a similar role
• Deep understanding of web technologies and trends
• Fundamental understanding of the website planning and implementation process
